Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 28, 2020 6:15 am Hi All, we found out recently that there is a down pipe attached to the front RHS balcony pillar. this was not in the initial plans but has changed in the last set (pre site plans) Unfortunately this change was not mentioned to us and we didn't even notice in the pre site drawings Builder is saying that the building surveyor requested it for the permit. (requirement every 12m to have a down pipe) I'm not sure if this is true. Also they could have easily used the other side highlighted below. However builder is saying that its going to be too much flow we have two pipes directed at garage roof. I'm not an expert in this field and not sure how far we can take this. We have given the option to change the colour to match the pillar. Has any one got ideas? Re: Down pipe incorrect position 2Oct 28, 2020 6:49 am Why the big gaps? Did you delete photos? Always state your location, regulations vary between States and Territories as do rainfall intensities. What size are the gutters and downpipes...vital information. Also need a plan that shows current downpipe locations as well as (a strong preference) gutter high points and a legend denoting lengths. Photos also help immensely! 3in1 Supadiverta. Re: Down pipe incorrect position 3Oct 28, 2020 9:10 am Pictures and drawings would be a huge help when asking these sorts of questions Constant What you have posted isn't really readable and also needs to be compared to your architectural plans.
