Generally basements require certified approved Systems/Solutions. Contact a specialist contractor Cheers Chris Thanks Chris. The drainage system is at the lowest point. It is right next to the concrete plinth at a depth of foundation. Plumber had exposed the foundation and laid the pipes next to it. He is a certified plumber who had several commercial projects. What do you think of his suggestion of drilling cores and getting water inside and then getting the water out through natural gradient? Are there any consultants who look at these issues and suggest how to fix? I don’t want to do anything until I am reasonably confident it fixes the issue. I had gotten a water detector with thermal cameras before doing the job but he pretty much said what the plumber had said. Chris above was right. The plumber hadn’t gone deep enough. So the water used to make its way to the lowest point and make it into the basement. We had to redo the agi drain going about 10 feet deep. That solved the issue. Costed us quite a bit but it has been 2 years and issue is resolved. I agree with Althom but there also may be a problem with the terra cotta stormwater pipe discharging water in that areas as well.
