Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 05, 2020 8:41 pm I am currently in the process of putting in final decisions for my build. It is north facing with a living room at the front. The living, meals and kitchen are facing south with all windows and doors on the south wall and corner windows on the south east and south west. Will this layout make the home dark and cold in the winters? Should I try to bring in more light somehow or reduce the windows? If possible try and have windows on all sides, so you have light coming in from all directions throughout the day.
