I am already aware of passive heating cooling etc. But I wondered about an outdoor Alfresco area. Should this be at the back facing south, west or east?? Would east be too cold and west too hot? Thought maybe just across the whole back and then we can add in block out blinds to the western side of it. What are your thoughts? I am not a sun seeker. I would strongly advise against West facing. The afternoon sun is harsh. Our deck runs full width of our house, and I will be screening the western side. East is an option if morning coffee is your thing. Maybe visit some of your neighbours on a warm arvo and get a feel for it that way 0 239 Hello!
