Can we still meet with the Building Supervisor for a progress update meeting onsite? I have my builder once again trying to restrict on-site access for a progress update until handover which is frustrating as they are trying to press on with work without rectifying items identified in our Darbecca stage inspections which I want to ensure are being seen to before tiling etc. covers up any areas of concern. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers, Norts33 Quick update to advise that I spoke to my Building Supervisor yesterday who advised that I could meet him onsite for a meeting this morning as long as I was wearing a mask and that we were socially distancing. It is business as usual for construction/our build and our house build is within 5km of where we are renting, so no issues there. Was great to walk through and discuss the progress, next steps, outstanding Darbecca inspection items etc. now that we are in the final stages and settlement is not too far away. I guess it really comes down to individual circumstances, your builders feedback on whether onsite visits can be achieved. I personally thought our builder was going to use this lockdown to keep me from visiting the site, but to my amazement, the Building Supervisor was more than accommodating to take me for a 30 min walkthrough this morning.
