Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jul 21, 2020 8:44 pm We built our house two years ago, we have a narrow backyard and in anticipation for a pool we paid the building company to put footings under the house so we could get a pool closer to the house. We now have the funds to put in the pool but the pool builder is saying the footings aren’t deep enough. The pool is 3x6 with a depth of 1.1-1.8m. Looking at the picture are The footings deep enough for a pool this size? And would I be able to have the pool less than 1m away from the house??? I’m in WA THANK YOU 🙂 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Footings/piling under house for pool not deep enough???? 2Jul 21, 2020 8:51 pm If your block is sand defiantly not deep enough . If pool is concrete not deep enough . If pool is fibreglass and the side walls taper in at at 280mm or more it should be ok Cheers Re: Footings/piling under house for pool not deep enough???? 3Jul 21, 2020 8:56 pm wheeliworks If your block is sand defiantly not deep enough .
