Light will come in via the bedrooms and bathroom. Id get rid of the door to the scullery and put fridge where that dishwasher is in there. 2.8m is little for bedrooms. Re: First home, house plan 16Jun 29, 2020 10:11 pm KameGame Do you really need a drop zone , if you get rid off it you living area would be much more open. I did that on purpose so you can't see all the way through the house from the door or walk into a wide open room, the drop zone is a feature brick wall, hang your coat up, kick your shoes off and drop your bag. It breaks it up a little and gives a good corner piece for the couch to lie on Re: First home, house plan 17Jun 29, 2020 10:16 pm [quote="alymei":1bkwd0he]We have a solartube in our rumpus. I think i like having the fridge in the kitchen, scullery is used predominantly when entertaining or making big meals, but most of the time like during the working week I won't be using that area much unless I'm doing meal prep on on a sunday. That kitchen is too small too. But I wish you well with your build How is the kitchen too small? This picture has the bigger bedroom sizes, the draftsman just made a mistake when updating like i said.. I think your kitchen will be large enough given you also have the butlers pantry. However you could perhaps consider extending the length of the island by 300mm giving you more preparation area. Also move the island back towards the kitchen cupboards leaving 1300mm distance between. This will allow you more space around the dining table which currently looks a tad tight to walk around when people are actually seated at the table. hi guys. Please be nice.
