I’d suggest you call NSW consumer affairs. Your insurer will come and have a look and will likely try to identify the root cause to prevent future problems. They may or may not agree to pay for the rectification themselves. My insurer referred me to VBA. The builder for my house and pergola have both informed me that the warranty is 10 years when we’ve discussed warranty. “Implied warranties apply to all building work. The Building Act 1993 allows action to be brought against a builder for up to 10 years from the date the work was completed. This right transfers to a new owner if the property is sold within this time.
