Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 10, 2020 11:51 am HI everyone Our current floor plan does not have a linen cupboard upstairs. We have 4 bedrooms with WIRs, but I still feel I need a linen cupboard. What is everyone's thoughts on this? I'm a big believer in lots of storage and feel every house needs a linen cupboard upstairs as well as downstairs? What's everyone's experience with this? Thanks Re: Linen cupboard 2May 10, 2020 12:19 pm You need somewhere to store sheets, blankets and towels. If you put these in everyone's WIR, then if they run out, then they need to access someone else's room to get some! Teenagers can be quite territorial! Re: Linen cupboard 3May 10, 2020 12:22 pm Definitely put a linen cupboard upstairs. If anything you can get away with a smaller linen closet downstairs and put a large one upstairs. We used to have a vacuum cleaner upstairs and one downstairs so we didn't have to carry it up and down. As you said, you can't have to much storage.
