HI
I am looking at doing a strip drain along the edge of a bondek suspended slab, which goes around the edge of the pool on 2 sides
Is this possible? Would it compromise the structural strength of the slab, and if it does is there anyway of strengthening the slab to allow the strip drain
Would appreciate a quick reply, as I have started the tiling on this slab and before i go any further i thought it would be a good idea to do a drain to stop the dirt and water flowing into the pool
the pic attached is on the short side of the pool (labelled 2) which is a blockfilled wall supporting that part of the slab
and bondek above
as well as the blockfilled wall (1) which I believe extends all along the long side of the pool supporting the slab
Maybe a structural engineer can do up a paid report if it is possible
Thanking all in advance
