It only needs to heat water up to 40 degrees and pretty rarely as the slab conserves the energy due to its thermal mass and insulation. It is just the most efficient way to heat the house up known to date. Full stop. Do not insulate between your floors, so the heated air can rise up and warm up your upper floor bedrooms too.
