Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Gaps under Windows 2Mar 25, 2020 2:30 pm Sounds like a lame excuse for these gaps, I agree these windows with the gaps are more likely to leak. A fix would be to fill the gap with a matching aluminium flashing that allows the drain holes to drain in front of the flashing. Also look at some of those mitres on the bottom of the sashes, they are open and they will leak rain and wind. This should be repaired by the manufacturer as no way will it pass AS 2047—1999.
