I have two tender appointments in the next 2 days . With Eden Brae and Kaplan homes . Would appreciate it if I could get some helpful pointers on what to look out for , what questions to ask , what to get included etc etc .ive delved into every possible topic relating to this and now my brains are officially fried ! Re: Tender help !! 2Feb 05, 2020 7:53 am Some tips (every little helps).. 1) ask for list of things NOT included (e.g. driveway, external balustrade, cost of electric connection/meter, council charges relating to approval of plans, council cost relating to driveway permit, occupational certification etc) 2) ask for list where a provisional allowance has been made and thus the actual cost could change later...thus you will have to pay the difference (e.g. piering cost) 3) check the proposed "stage completion" payments - ask your bank if they are ok with the stages and % payment and timeline.
