Sorry Norfolk, but not quite sure what you mean by the door. I don't see what you're talking about.

The bricks and horizontal mortar beds are standard heights, & within tolerances. Assuming your doors and bricks are of standard height, I believe your door openings' construction details should be the same. I'm interested in your SS's explanation. These deviations can be easily rectified by a bricklayer putting the missing layers in before PCI, if that's what you choose. It's exactly the same mistake they made with your pergola height. Kitchen island is horrible too. How could they get it so wrong. Do you have drawings to back your design? Re: Metricon Sentosa 52 Modified 288Mar 02, 2020 9:32 pm Yeah I always felt that metal plate at the top feels odd and off. In fact almost all my sliding doors and doors have that metal plate. I'm confident I payed for the upgrade to have the areas above my window filled in with bricks. Thanks for your explanation guys. Meeting the site supervisor tomorrow. This information has helped quite a bit. Oh and my contract supervisor who didn't reply to my emails for over two weeks just left the company. Wow. Re: Metricon Sentosa 52 Modified 289Mar 03, 2020 8:45 am Now they are saying for my kitchen island, they are going by what is stated in the contract and not the floorplans. If that's the case why do I need to sign off on the floorplans then? Also it makes no mention in my contract that my waterfalls do not reach the floor. Re: Metricon Sentosa 52 Modified 294Mar 03, 2020 12:38 pm wow, this is never ending. I think you are going to have a battle on your hands to get this right.... but don't give up!!! What would metricon have that's different from the page I signed off on? How could they brazenly say they won't change the silestone for my kitchen island? Although I did mess up on the laminte panel, it's not supposed to look like that but regardless, the one they installed is 3.5cm thick instead of the 6cm on the floorplans. That's not the end result you would have expected. I think if I just look at the floor plans without looking into the photo (the final design you wanted) then I think the current kitchen is very close except for the thickness you mentioned. May be the floor plan/contract should have had possible dimensions as - 1500x750x980 and an overhang of almost 400mm at the front ? Just my thoughts. That Tub tap is not acceptable and needs to be moved. Plus it doesn't say in the contract there would be a gap for the kickstand. The site supervisor said the bathtub is and piping is fixed and doesn't know how they are going to fix it. 😱😭 Hi, First of all, thank you to this community for sharing your thoughts and opinions.
