Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 91Mar 12, 2020 12:04 pm Yeah, we're getting stressed as our 181 days from signing our contract finishes on the 27/04 and from then on you have to pay $50 a day until they start building, creeping up on us so quickly! How long was it from signing your final docs to receiving a start date? How long was it from signing your final docs to receiving a start date? Council approval was Jan 15, bank go ahead was feb 8 and site start on Mar 8th They probably will get you on site soon.. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 93Mar 12, 2020 12:14 pm We have just had all variations back and our final plans are scheduled for the 25th which is still 2 weeks away, so crazy how long it actually takes we started this process in September! We both signed our contracts around the same time within a weeks time.. it’s a long long time back.. Christmas didn’t help our cause either I guess all big builders are in the same boat.. some of my friends who are building with other builders are facing the same struggle.. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 97Mar 31, 2020 5:04 pm Amazing.. congratulations Zara... so happy for you.. My build started on 9th March and we are done with the slab and the frames!!! I am hoping/praying that the Covid has no impact on the build.. really don’t want to pay both mortgage and rent in these troubled times.. I am hoping/praying that the Covid has no impact on the build.. really don’t want to pay both mortgage and rent in these troubled times.. A lot of banks now have the option to defer your mortgage payments for either 3 or 6 months so if it comes to it, definitely check it out. Talk to your PM about your rent as well, if need be. I really hope nothing drastic happens, too many unknowns right now! All well and good as we no longer liked our original choice against the new one as it put off a 'yellow' tone and we wanted white so super happy in that regard. And yes any builder… 2 13781 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4357 May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13260 |
