HELP PLEASE
Hi everyone..i am a female with no idea about building but having issues. We build in 2013 a project home. 3 years later after a heavy storm we had water seep through the upstairs floor onto the carpet about a metre in diameter soaking the carpet. Builder said..oh its a one off let me know if it happens again. Fast forward to last week same issue after that heavy storm in Sydney and not only did the carpet get soaked but downstairs the bathroom window jamb was leaking more like pouring water top and bottom. From what i seem to understand water is leaking down the gyprock wall. Builder is now saying woops sorry your out of warranty and it was a bad storm. What can I do this was an known issue. Why would the water just run down the brick wall and drain away? Oh its a brick veneer home. Thanks
