Hi folks,
I have a newish house full of double glazed windows in western red cedar frames.
I've found when the sun hits the windows, they fog up. It doesn't happen when sun is not hitting the windows. Happens in all seasons.
I'm not getting water dripping, largely it is a hazy film that develops (so it looks awful as hard to see out the windows). It seems now there is almost a permanent haze on some of them on the inside / discolouration so the windows look dirty even when sparkling clean.
I'm keen to hear if anyone has had this fixed? Windows replaced? I don't overly heat or cool the house, I'm thinking either I need to get screening for each window, or holes which defeats the whole purpose of having the double glazing in the first place.
When you pay so much for a brand new home - its not a big ask to want to see out of clean windows!
The windows are still under warranty...
