I am planning to build Wentworth 35 design with some modifications. I just read your post and having a second thoughts about building with Clarendon Homes now. - Do you mind telling, how much extra you paid compared 5o your initial cost estimate? - ar3 you happy with the traditional facade? - how does current sapphire option compare against the one you had it in 2017? - did you have to do anything past handover and how much you spent? Hi, we paid quite a bit extra on the original house price. As mentioned in my post, it all depends on your choices. Tradional facade is alright, but not to my liking. The one they showed on website and other paper work didn't match up with final draft. We just left it as it was getting too late to get into things. I am not sure what is in the offering on current sapphire price. Your biggest spend will be kitchen, electrical and tiles. Try to get good bargains on them. Even if they say diamond package has everything included, don't trust them. Ask for exclusions first . post handof, yes we did have few issues but most of them are getting sorted. Re: My new home in Capestone Mango Hill with Clarendon Wentw 36Jan 07, 2020 2:05 pm Hey Kishore, Thank you for the detailed write up of your journey building the house and those pictures are very nice. Congratulations on your home and I hope the journey was a cherishable one. We are in the same boat as you and have shortlisted Clarendon and Wentworth 35 with minimal changes to the plan itself. I was wondering if I could get some pictures of the house after completion and especially the kitchen and living areas. Thanks, BrissyBloke Re: My new home in Capestone Mango Hill with Clarendon Wentw 37Jan 07, 2020 4:10 pm BrissyBloke Hey Kishore, Thank you for the detailed write up of your journey building the house and those pictures are very nice. Depends on how you take it . I took it as fun ride and enjoyed with few annoying moments. I did post quite a few pictures after completion as well. Not sure if you can see the picture with black goose neck tap on sink. If not, click on any picture and just keep moving right. You will see them all.
