I have sent a pretty nasty email to her cc’ing my site supervisor and his boss too. Hopefully the "nasty" email gets some action! Little hiccups are to be expected, I suppose. Simply ignoring inquiries and telephone calls is rude and bad business. If I did that in my work, I wouldn't have a job! Hope your 10 day break is relaxing, and it's not too bad in the meantime. https://thomasarcherbuild.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html - Thomas Archer Homes - Custom Nouveau 41 Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 572Jan 13, 2020 2:44 pm It turns out that all the water damage from our leaking toilet in the Powder Room was caused by a simply connection on the back of the toilet that wasn't pushed all the way into the connecting pipe in the wall. Instead, they were butting up against each other and water was leaking down into the wall cavity with each flush. Now the arcs/skirts and some lower plaster around the entry to the powder room need to be replaced and the carpet, underlay and skirts in the adjacent sitting room need to be replaced. A lot of work for a small mistake! Careless trades..... Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 580Jan 23, 2020 8:56 am shokel1975 Yeah, not sure. Assessor said the plumber would be getting the bill for all of it, but I thought same as you drew01. Hopefully it is all fixed soon. It turns out the plumber is definitely getting billed for all the costs to fix our leak issues. So now I have to put up with all the trades coming to 'quote' their part of the job first, and then once it is submitted and approved, work can start to fix the issues. Builder, grout/moisture company, plasterer, painter, carpet layer - I think this will be a long process..... but not too fussed. Carpet has dried out and toilet has been properly connected so, the rest is just cosmetic. Hi, First of all, thank you to this community for sharing your thoughts and opinions.
