Bidet recommendations

Hi, I'm looking for anyone who decided to install a Bidet, and have you had any trouble, etc. What to look for, do you recommend a combi unit, or just the seat. Am thinking it may be a good idea as we are getting older. It will be installed in a new build. Thanks in advance. Trish

We also plan to install bidets in our build. We currently have the cheap $30 ones from ebay that go under your toilet seat. They run off cold water only but are great and work well.

For the new build we have installed an extra tap connection and power point so that we can try a fancier model (with warm water, heated seats, dryer). We considered buying an all in one unit but it was too expensive so we will just be changing the seats.

Hi, yes, I think if we go that way, it will be the seat. The Conway BA13B sounds good. or TOTO S350E, BUT I'd love to see one or hear from someone whom have installed and used one.

Remember to check which side the power and water is on. I think (from memory?) Toto has their power on the opposite side to most other models. This becomes a problem if the back of your toilet suite doesn't have space to pass the cable through.
