I wouldn’t ever expect to get questions about simple things like how to use a dishwasher, so I think perhaps the new owner is stepping over the line a bit. How you deal with it is a tough one if you wish to remain cordial. On the other hand you don’t owe them anything and it’s unlikely you'll need to see them again, so you could just break it off. As a halfway approach, you might try converting the communication to e-mail, and then you'll be able to formulate responses in your own time, rather than them setting the timetable of when they call. The agent will pretty quickly cut them off if they ask silly questions. It seems to me like there just trying to cash in.
