Hi all
We are currently at lock up stage for our build. Our contract includes external painting, plus internal doors, ceilings and cornice but not internal wall paint as have elected to organise our own internal paint - a family member is a registered painter.
We would like to use the Christmas shutdown period to gain access and apply the undercoat sealer, but did not think to have this included as a condition of our contract. We also want to access the build later to apply the 2 top coats prior to flooring.
Has anyone done this with builder approval? Or are we likely to come up against barriers to access?
