Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Window and door height 6Dec 06, 2019 9:59 pm I think the front facade looks fine as it is. The group of 3 windows/ sliding door at the front work together, start from the ground up and have a lower roofline/ eaves than the other windows at the front of the house, which start from a sill about a metre off the ground. If you made them 2340mm high, they would encroach on your roofline/ eaves. Having that difference between those 3 windows/ sliding door and the other windows adds contrast, and brings that front porch into focus. As for your rear elevation, I'd probably increase the height of your alfresco doors to match. I would however also question why a lot of the windows seem to start from a different sill height. Is that intentional?
