We jsut painted our roof. Spent two days cleaning the roof. We hired an industrial pressure washer to remove all old flaky paint and prepare the roof for painting. Hired an industrial paint sprayer, prepared paint according to instructions, did two coats of Dulux roof paint and used 7.5tins to cover approx 200sqm.
The final result looks very patchy. Andy advive? Please see photos. We did not change paint colour.
After two coats of Dulux roof paint (7.5 tins used for two coats of approx 200sqm)
After pressure washing and cleaning
Post two coats of new paint

It looks to me that it hasn't enough paint applied,
Did you water it down at all?
Perhaps spray too far away from the roof and lots of dry mist?

Rachy did you end up resolving this problem?
We are currently going through the same experience. We have painted the verandah and double carport so far with Wattyl Solagard Satin in Colorbond Surfmist and have the same patchy result.
We have 1 coat of primer and 4 top coats (long story) so there is definately enough paint on there. It appears to be more an issue with an inconsistent sheen or finish.
If you look across the roof or in shadow it looks fantastic. On the glancing angle, in line with the corrugation in full sunlight it looks very patchy.
In particular where the overlaps are look different to the areas with no overlap.
