Hi..
I am looking for an interior white to paint my hosue which is currently being built. It is for some fairly good sized rooms, which will have dark stained ( almost black, but with the brown grain coming through) timber floor boards downstairs, and mocha coloured carpet upstairs.
The kitchen is white, and the stairs are timber and stainless steel. However I don't want the house looking too "industrial" I want some warmth.. I have two kids ( well one and one on the way) so it is a family home..
I quite like Porter's Paint 'milk" but my painter wants to use Dulux. I am worried that it is too "yellowy".....
My architect suggested vivid white.. but I am worried that it will be too stark.
I read somewhere that "lexicon" is a good universal colour...
Any suggestions???? I need a wall colour and a ceiling colour.
Thanks.
