Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 07, 2019 1:06 pm We are just about to start the process of selecting colours etc for our new Simonds home. Our last house we had solid timber floors which I loved, but that is not an option in our new house. I'm not a fan of carpet due to dust/dirt. Would like Engineering Timber but I think that may be too expensive. What flooring did you select / how much extra was it / has it been easy to maintain ? Thanks in advance Hi, I have a block that I am planning on building on soon to both side boundaries, which both have other houses constructed that were also built boundary to… 0 21 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6397 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 16212 |
