Also search this forum, the last similar post I remember was over $100k needless to say the member never started a thread I assume that was the end of their dream and depo$it. I suggest you get your own contour, Site report, hire an engineer to provide details, Data/Proofs, quants and estimated costs, armed with this then tell your 3 builders to sharpen their pencils and quote. OT A free 1hr Site consultation with a Salesperson is "FREE" generally anything "FREE" has no value in the courts. I wouldn't want to be up to my neck, by the time the professional advice comes in....it's too late then, hth Cheers Chris Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs Re: Greenvale Site costs 3Dec 03, 2019 2:06 pm Iam_sarahp Hi all, Am considering building in Greenvale near Providence and Maples Estate with Porter Davis but am extremely concerned of the site costs involved. There would be a 1.4 metre fall on over 650sqm block of land and possibly rock. Has anyone built in that area that could share some site cost pricing? One builder has said $22,k fixed ( excluding rock removal and retaining walls ) Another said $40,k and rising. Would appreciate any advice or feedback. If you are still looking, our build is about to start with Porter Davis in Greenvale (True North) and Porter Davis fixed the costs at the sales at $22k and some change and thats all we have to pay. The soil tests have come back really reactive but we don't have to pay anything more. Re: Greenvale Site costs 4Dec 05, 2019 8:41 pm Thanks icheema. We’ve been chatting with PD and they’re prepared to fix site cost but unfortunately the lot we’re looking at just has too many issues I think. Lucky we know now before signing. We’re now looking at a couple of lots in True North but it wasn’t an area we considering at all. The price of these lots seem high but I have no comparisons for that stage to really know the value. Both are private sale in Stage 11. I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13098 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15951 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
