This is our second build. First build was with a different builder. This Time we are trying Simonds. All so far so good except having issues with our CRC. Hopefully will be sorted out next week when we get a new CRC.
Its been a long time since I have been on this forum. About 4 years in fact. Started a Blog.
This is our house Design completed. After all of our changes.
Ground Floor Plan
1st Floor Plan
The Land will title in November 2018 and we have a site start booked for Feb 2019.
Hopefully the builder can get all the permits and planning requirements done in time.
This is our internal Colours. Clockwise starting top left.
We went the Vinyl Flooring which I cannot wait for, the last home we built we used Laminate and it was de-laminating near the doors which wasn't nice.
Also decided to go a colour splash back in the kitchen and butler pantry of the bright orange. The last home we went Azure Blue and it looked very nice.
So our Gallery and Electrical appointments are all done and dusted. Just waiting on developer approval for the estate. Then once titles are released the Soil Test can be done and then plans go into council for permits.

well our house is well and truly nearly completed. its been a journey and a half. had a few issues but they have all been sorted out. Best thing we ever did was get the private inspector. he has been excellent in finding real issues that we would not have found.
Visiting the site every day helps too, gave us a chance to find issues along the way before they became major dramas.
we are currently waiting on our PCI date, all the constructions has been completed.
Hope to be in before xmas.
