What I found is that sales and admin don't know much about "non-standard" things, unless they cam across it in the past. You should generally insist they speak with the estimating team, or tell them that the other builder is prepared to do it, and they will do it. In upgrading to 90mm frames, that would have impacted the width and length of the design right? I am referring to the cumulative effect of adding an extra 20 mil to each frame member, which well either make your internal dimensions smaller, or your overall external dimensions wider/longer? what happened there? I also initially upgraded the frame spacing to be 400MM apart (compared to 600MM standard) but due to going over budget with all the appointments, the frame spacing upgrade ended up on the chopping board (about 7K cost).
