The images may look shocking but the walls will be rendered.Does anyone have thoughts on what we should discuss with the site supervisor or the workmanship of the brickwork?ThanksFront of house and mess (external)Lounge/front (internal) Re: 1st time building WA 9Oct 12, 2019 12:51 pm LOL2000 Thanks amilelka, that's reassuring to know. How is your build progressing? Re: 1st time building WA 10Oct 17, 2019 4:41 pm Today went to meet with the site supervisor and it seems to be progressing along nicely. Supervisor is happy with the brickwork and went through the process. He assures that once the truss is complete, it will be checked and signed off by a qualified engineer and himself. We're shuffling along comfortably. We can almost see the end of the build in sight, but getting overwhelmed with all the things we need to do post handover! That's great. Can't wait to see your interior. Do you have a post handover to do list? Would be handy for me to start planning. This is our first build and its been a steep continuous learning curve that doesn't seem to end Re: 1st time building WA 12Oct 22, 2019 11:51 pm Accidentally meet our plasterer on the weekend. He dropped by to scope the work.
Our upper floor truss is completed and the plasterers were there today to render the front elevation.
