We are installing a new kitchen and had to repair and replace some of the existing hardwood floors to a section where a laundry had been. The joins look a bit large to me, but never having floors replaced before I'm unsure if I'm being critical? The flooring guy has said he will fill the gaps with putty, but the cuts on the boards don't look straight. Thanks in advance for your help. That will allow two top surfaces to come together without gaps.
