Hi
We are in the process of getting our site ready for building our single storey home. Our builder got us a quote for some tiger tails that are required for safety reasons. The cost of $20k is just a joke for some cover and this cost was not pre-empt during our site costing and budgeting. As you can see from the picts, they even wanted the next door neighbour’s cable with tiger tails as well. My questions are: why are some building projects that i have seen does not need these tiger tails ( as in pict 3), why the builder required these stay on for 12 months as the cost is based on the duration that they stayed on, are there another way we can deal with this to cut cost? Many thanks
