Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Aug 31, 2019 12:00 pm Ive bought a big glazed pot and ive planted my two agapanthus 'black panther" plants in it on each side but I want something larger for the middle of the pot and to grow above the agapanthus. I don't know what to pair with them as I know agapanthus roots seem to love to take over wherever they are. Would a camelia standard or a lilly pilly standard plant survive in the same pot as the agapanthus? You only need 1 plant in there, and even then you will probably be pulling it out and splitting it into smaller plants every year. Thanks amilelka, I was worried the agapanthus would be too much for what I wanted to do with the pot. I’ll either just have the agapanthus or move them to a different spot and have a feature tree instead It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger.
