Just noticed today stage 1 had numerous blocks where builders had done soil test, 1block had I believe water meter installed already..
Lot 88 and 89 are really good sized blocks you will have many options to choose from

Site costs are the hidden ones that you don straight away once settlement goes through? Yes we are, hopefully there will be no delay with the swttlement. My name is Dianne or Di. Re: Plenty Valley Views -Doreen,Vic 38Aug 22, 2019 2:42 pm Venusmarz DVii Venusmarz Hi Dvii We have paid a deposit on Lot 89..so I guess we will be neighbours. I have also been going crazy over plans...especially as the blocks are only 26m in length...it limits choices...My block has a fall of 1.7 m so i am now getting quotes on site costs to start with.. just an estimate as we wont know the finished levels until subdivision is complete.it is stressing !!! Hello Venusmarz!!we found some builders that are willing to build on our block, we have the same amount of fall. Hotondo, orbit, aston and nostra. Hontondo thinks that a split level design suits best for our block. Aston and nostra modifies their floor plan to suit the block. At least there are more options now. I will stay away from Orbit... I had a nightmare build with them many many years ago....Nostra homes looks nice.. i haven't been to a display yet...Metricon called back and said that site costs could be between $25 - $30K..on the fall...but again we need the final engineers plans... ouch I will have a look at the others...there was also talk of retaining walls and now i'm stressing too I did hear a lot of big commercial builders will try and rip people with extra site costs on falls...I would shop around and seek advice from the developer if I were u. and also private builders that have been recommended - just for advice on site costs for falls. Re: Plenty Valley Views -Doreen,Vic 39Aug 24, 2019 8:27 pm selva Speak to bentley homes or simmonds both would build on blocks. I have a 3m fall across the block front left to rear right. Somehow i dont think it would change from the current engineering design although greg told us the same, the fall was actually more then the engineering design by .2m Hi Selva Just wondering if you have been given any quotes on site costs yet..Custom builder costs seems very expensive and are you looking at retaining walls too? thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6066 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 4518 |
