The vinyl flooring, are you sure you want it at 45 degrees? I've seen rooms like that and it looked a bit odd. The way it's drawn now, there's not enough space to put a dryer side by side, and the overhead cupboard prevents you stacking one above too. Your kitchen island. Are you are planning to put some bench stools on the other side? If so, it doesn't really look deep enough, as the water from your sink will splash onto the people sitting there. Wardrobes with 3 sliding doors can be a pain. They generally run on 2 tracks, which means that you can only see 1/3 of your wardrobe at any one time. Otherwise it's a pretty decent design. Except a bit in the morning. The main bedroom is above the garage, so you will want insulation in between your bedroom floor/garage roof if it gets cold. (hard to seal the garage from the outside due to the door contruction - hence it gets colder). Kitchen has limited natural light. Ensure you have enough lights there to adjust. Guests/kids using the upstairs rumpus room will be able to see into the master bedroom via the balcony. (Curtains and possible extra noggin above that window depending on your selected curtain style) 2nd/3rd bedroom has a lot of windows. particularly for northern facing. (if the eaves aren't extra long, then they will get hot in summer). If one isn't going to be used a lot. i'd remove one of the windows or consider extending the eaves. (i think its 45% of the height from, the bottom of the window sill, to the roof. As the correct length of the eaves so as to be able to block out the summer sun, but to still allow in the winter sun) Question: What is the red colouring on the wall? Sound insulation? Where is the hot water system going? you'd probably want it near the butler pantry window? so it easily services the kitchen/ensuite. But can't really see a space for it. Thanks alex and sejae, very helpful. I'm glad that it is possible and it won't cost heaps. Such a great relief. 3 594 What is the orientation of the block OP?
