What I have found to be effective cost wise, feature rich and very well compatitble is to use Samsung SmartThings hub $300 ish, which supports Z Waze, Zigbee, IFTTT and more.... constantly being updated by an open source community.

Then you can build a Wifi Mesh by using something like https://www.amplifi.com/instant/ which is Wifi 6 11.ac and smart switches / locks / security / lights etc.....

This way I keep the wifi for net use and other network protocols for smart insights and automation.. I have costed that up as 10-15k for a 360 sqm home

I am looking personally considering Wi-Fi based systems (Google Home/Amazon Alexa compatible) smart light switches and outlets for my home.

There many interesting brands out there right now, even Clipsal has some (but uber expensive in Australia).

You can go for B.One Hub which supports different protocols like WIfi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, IR.

2) ST ios app installed. Plume app also installed
3) Z-wave Aeotec Garage Door opener with Tilt sensor
4) Z-wave Aeotec Water Sensor
5) Zigbee Samsung Motion Sensor

What type of window?
It is only possible to use existing products in the market, thus please check if you have come across any that could fit your need. If it is a z-wave device, ensure that it supports AU Z-wave frequency (so avoid buying in another country to use in AU...this is only for Zwave)

I’m trying to figure out how to automate all my house windows (sliding and tilt) and sliding doors. I haven’t ordered yet, current suppliers don’t have motors that I have been talking to.
