Your windows are good in that you have side (jamb) and bottom (sill) flashing that also extends all the way past the DPC layer that will sit over your bottom courses of bricks. The only extra thing you could do if you were being fussy would be check they have sealed/taped up any penetrations going through your wrap (like for plumbing or electrical pipes etc). So it looks like this should be good quality build from the look of images. Good luck with it all. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check our Homeone build blog here Re: New build Gordon bourke constructions 8Jul 19, 2019 7:26 pm darb74 Looks your builder takes some care, especially with things like neat wall wrapping, temporary downpipes and those window flashes are massive! I would be asking the builder to make sure those heating/cooling ducts are all “strung up” from the roof battens to they don’t actually on the ceiling. If they don’t do this your ceiling insulation won’t be as effective. You should be aiming for at least 300mm clearance I think from ceiling to those ducts. But I come from a cold Victorian climate so insulation is super important to us here, not sure what region you are building in? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check our Homeone build blog here Re: New build Gordon bourke constructions 13Aug 01, 2019 12:21 pm RKDALD KingTaco With such a great view all around, looks like you made a good choice with all those windows!
