Has anyone pulled the builder up on the condition of the Slab? For example: the painters were very messy and didn’t protect the slab when painting. In particular, I am wondering if I can ask the site supervisor to have the slab cleaned. The garage floor has been discoloured by paint and there’s a considerable amount of spilt (chunky in areas) paint on the floor in the media room. We have flooring going down in the media however the garage was just plain concrete and this looks totally horrible. Has anyone else had an issue with this? We have silicone/brown stuff on our beautiful light bricks outside the kitchen window. We aren't having flooring in 2 rooms and they've covered them in paint. Our rear patio has what looks to be concrete and grout spilt all over it and again we are having plain concrete. I'm a bit concerned about how this will go down Follow our build - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=97258&p=1860467#p1860467 Re: Practical Completion inspection 15Mar 29, 2020 1:11 pm Vanessa you are typical example of diy homeowner who decided not to employ independent private inspector, presumably to save $650 but instead you will be underwriting your own risk. If things go pear shaped it may cost you a lot more, perhaps crippling your investment. Sure you got Roscon list that will help you pick up a lot of fleas but you may miss elephants. Why? because you don't know what to look for. Elephants missing on Roscon list
