Re: Excessive gap between tiled floors in bathroom and cavit 4Jul 14, 2019 11:13 am darb74 I’m not 100% sure on tolerances etc for this, but funnily enough we originally in our plans had specified minimum 20mm gap for toilet and bathroom door gaps to allow better air supply for the exhaust fans in those rooms! In the end we removed this, as the builder said there would be at least 10mm gap anyhow. When we built with a larger volume builder 10 years ago, they installed decent brush type seals on the backs of our bathroom doors (though not CSD type). I reckon you should be able to get seals for your CSDs in these particular areas. So although 25mm does seem excessive, my thoughts are not a massive issue. You could ask if they could adjust the CSD down a bit, then request proper door seals be installed as well. Thanks for the idea and options avail. If adjust down, then would see more of rollers and gap above. At moment as it stands, the track above is visible now. 2 7542 How good is Simeon?! Always taking time to help others out!
