Oh my goodness, what amazing progress. You must be so happy! It looks amazing!

With the gable vents...were they something you requested or the builder said you had to have? They do look smaller, but I suppose it depends on the reason they are there...e.g. if it was for energy efficiency or something, you'd have to make sure it meets the requirements...or if it's something you had requested and aren't happy with, that's another matter. Could also depend on if there is an actual size noted on the plan or what the notations are.

Neighbours have been at it again, now a whs complaint as a tradie did a wee in the paddock... the toilet people haven't been yet but are scheduled for Wed- builder facing a $3600 fine.

Sounds like your neighbours are absolutely delightful people. Bet you are looking forward to having a drink with them!

Bricks started yesterday - so happy - I changed to Austral Chiffon at the last minute, and LOVE them!!!

What bricks 🧱 did you choose beforehand?

We chose Blackbutt initially but really pleased with the chiffon.

The neighbours have started acknowledging us when we drive up the hill, will be interesting...

Yeah it looks great, nothing like a nice warm wall colour. We had something similar in our previous house too. Hey what colour white did you use for the trims?

The work around the gables was finisjed today.

Outside waiting on renderer and downpipes then painters can return.

Ready for tiling inside. Concrete booked in for next week.

Looking good. I like the windows over the benchtops in the kitchen, should give good natural light for those work areas.

Are your windows tinted at the front? We used the standard grey toned glass for several of our windows and fairly happy with the light levels still....was a bit nervous they would be too dark

They are dark grey tint. Also did the western side

Its Polytec Oxford from their venette range - Well worth the upgrade cost. It doesnt leave fingerprints

Are you ensuite tiles Como Charcoal we have just started a build with hallmark and thats the tiles we picked also
