Re: Sink Strainer Plugs Not Holding Water 12Jul 08, 2019 6:17 pm Hi All You are correct the bunnings kinetic did not work......still leaked even when we used 2 washers as suggested above So we made one out of a toilet cistern washer by cutting out the centre with a 1/4 inch chisel.........the outside diameter of the washer is slightly larger than the origional washer that lasted 14 years.. probably leaked for the last few years......our remedy has been to put vaseline on the rubber..........this did not last long........sent money it is fixed!!!!
