Yeah they're overhang. The thought is maybe to get those soft close devices you can retrofit and do that after handover. We'll see. We don't have soft close at the moment and it's not exactly a deal breaker

Everything has come out so well. Just wondering why there is no tile on walls between vanity n shower in bathroom? Has he not finished tiling yet. I understand mirror will b on top but below mirror?? Re: Madison 35 by Clarendon Homes - Fixing stage 129Jun 10, 2019 7:33 am It's called Stormy Skies... we love it, particularly the way it contrasts with the roof and gutters Re: Madison 35 by Clarendon Homes - Fixing stage 130Jun 10, 2019 7:35 am MrsAJ KingTaco Interior - wall and wet area floor tiling is complete. Thanks! Apparently that's just how it is... we'll see how it looks when it's finished - might be that we come back after and get some more tiling done... Re: Madison 35 by Clarendon Homes - Fixing stage 131Jun 11, 2019 10:09 pm Looking great! I've only just signed up to these forums, I wish I started a thread like you at the start. I am building a Parkhill 29 in SEQ. I think I am about 2 weeks behind you in terms of where we are up to. If you don't mind me asking, did they give you an ETA till completion? Nice job and good vision! If you don't mind me asking, did they give you an ETA till completion? Thanks! Never too late to start a thread But it has been fun charting it from the start! The Parkhill is a good design - actually there's one going up just near us I think. No they haven't given an ETA yet... we're still estimating completion at the end of July, based on their average build time for a 2 storey. Looking like we're more or less on track for that though. Nice job and good vision! Thanks Rhetti! We can only claim part ownership of that vision though - the facade we'd chosen originally has the whole front rendered, but we liked the modified facade on the Clarendon website, which only has part of it rendered. Looking forward to the garage door going on so we get a full appreciation of how it all looks together! Re: Madison 35 by Clarendon Homes - Fixing stage 135Jun 24, 2019 8:26 pm So hasn't really been an update in a while, mainly because there's not been much to update! The painting is now complete. The main floor tile finally arrived last week, so we weren't held up too much I think. It should be laid this week, then it's on to electrical and plumbing finishes. Oh yeah, and next door, which started I think about 6-7 weeks ago? It's already up to the same stage as us! You may beat us yet. Re: Madison 35 by Clarendon Homes - Painting/tiling 138Jun 27, 2019 9:26 pm So hard to say hey! Seems like we both get a flurry of activity then nothing for a while... and the timeline they gave us seems a little out of order We'll go out to the house either tomorrow or over the weekend - looking forward to seeing where we're up to, but not looking forward to seeing all the mud! Those makeshift duckboards aren't doing anything hey!! the stair balustrades? There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 7114 The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant. The Dept of Fair Trading would love to see this one! Do the gutters pool water after it stops raining? Although it's… 4 8231 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5639 |
