Now it’s panic time for us, getting paint colours chosen, quotes for aggregate driveway and flooring, blinds etc. It’s hard to work out what colours will go together. We feel a little like it’s very white in there! Re: KDR - New Choice Homes Custom design - Perth, WA 114May 28, 2019 8:26 pm thme Getting close. They’re trying to get handover in June. Yes its very tricky, we picked Taubmans Silver Spoon which looks so light, almost white, in daylight but at night it looks really dark which is scary haha. At least because you have so much white its like a blank slate so most colours/shades should work 🤔 Re: KDR - New Choice Homes Custom design - Perth, WA 115May 28, 2019 8:30 pm We have Matt black taps and door handles throughout. Trying to keep to fairly muted tones (black, white, grey and timber tones) and then dress it up with colourful artwork and dressings. The hardest thing for us, which we still haven’t chosen, is the splashbacks for the kitchen, scullery and laundry. There’s too much to choose from! Re: KDR - New Choice Homes Custom design - Perth, WA 117May 31, 2019 8:06 pm Tiles are finished. They started grouting today, however I don’t think they finished as they left pretty early. Plumbing and electrical finals booked for next week, along with the fence (hopefully). The niche tile looks a bit funny in photos, but in person you can’t see it and it will mostly be covered up by shampoo bottles etc. Can’t wait to see how all the black taps and fittings look next week.
