I’m surprised they were working today. I get the feeling there’s lots of trades chasing work in Perth at present. There’s been maybe 3 days since the brickwork started that no one has been on-site. Most days they’re there until around 5pm. I get the feeling they give them pretty tight deadlines because everything has worked really out really smoothly so far. Getting quite close to lock up. I expect they’ll push to have it done ASAP, as this will trigger the major payment prior to handover (35%). I think they only get 10% at handover. Their stuff appears much better than the Bunnings option and I think the pricing is not too bad. We're looking at around $2k for our master robe and around $1k each for the minor bedrooms. The colour is First Snow. They also did the external ceilings (alfresco, garage and portico). Should be cabinets fitted next week. Wet area floors prepared today, bath bricked in and storm water drainage complete. Tiles booked for next week. Better get sorted for our feature tile over the weekend for the shower niche in our en-suite. They said they should be ready for handover before the end of June.
