I tried googling it, We are putting up 3 wall mounted TVs Are u saying I need these noggins? We have just begun building now. Thanks for advice If you have a steel frame home it will be hard to mount TVs on the wall, not impossible but difficult. They are just wooden pieces that are drilled to the frame so you can mount whatever on to those instead. I'll have a chat with my SS. I heard you can just get the steel equivalent of the special screws from Bunnings. But yes I will discuss with my SS beforehand to make sure this is addressed Re: Coral Homes Noosa 23 - South Ripley 47May 12, 2019 9:56 pm alymei Where are you guys up to? Just finished week 6. I am confused on mixed reviews on steel frame Thank you! We have steel frame. What are you worried about if you chose steel? I heard about Steel frame noise and also thermal conductivity being high in steel unless you spent more on insulation . Tradies will find it hard with Steel as it's not easy to screw as timber.. We have steel frame and they just put timber wherever required for their work. We have insulated the whole house. For us we heard timber has noise and paid extra for steel frames. It's true that steel frame makes noise as I live in one now but it's not as bad as you think. More of a steel frame is pre-fabricated off site than timber so the carpenters don't have to assemble as much. Our SS also added timber noggins at no cost so we could hang heavy things on the wall later. Also did you opt for Ducted aircon with Coral or you installed it from outside SS means Site Supervisor. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15036 Hi so sorry for the late reply.
