Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building near protected trees 9Apr 05, 2019 10:05 pm Any idea what is the procedure if you have a tree within your own property boundary and the driveway is being lifted by the tree. If I repair the driveway I will damage the tree roots and therefore the tree dies. Is one then able to plant new trees and have the troublesome tree removed.? Also if you go CDC how do you justify trees to be removed with council..? Lastly if I do go CDC is there a need to identify a Tree protection zone..? Re: Building near protected trees 10Apr 06, 2019 5:41 am For cdc have a look at clause 3.33 https://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/#/vi ... /572/part3 You also need to check your local councils website as they should have clear guidelines for trees that aren’t covered by the cdc requirements A lot depends on which council you feeling to, where the tree is on your block, what species it is and how big it is. Good luck Our standard double-glazed window is tested to achieve, Rw 34, and can be glazed to suit Rw 39. The price is good too... 3 9472 A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor.
