Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Feedback on the plans 28Apr 03, 2019 9:49 am ![]() What about these two options? The top on is the same house as my original post, just the kitchen swapped and droping the theatre and moving the study behind the garage. I still need to fine tune the windows and make the guest a bit bigger by making the battler and laundry a bit smaller. The second plan is the standard metricon liberty plan, i don't mind the plan overall but my wife feels the space between the kitchen island and the dining/alfresco corner is a bit tight. Both houses at about 38sq which is what we are aiming for. Thanks again for everyone's feedback. Thank you. On our modified plan (which I haven’t loaded as it has too much writing on it) we’ve actually extended the garage and put in a shower to the guest bed plus with their provincial facade you get the master bed extending over the garage to offer a small office and larger walk in. The removal of L shape is a good idea, my wife doesn’t like it either. I wonder if there will be enough light in the living/kitchen/dining with the south being at the back? Regarding cavity sliding doors, trying to avoid them if possible. Mate who is builder strongly advise against them, especially when using 70mm frame.
