We've got the keys and handover is done. Now the real work begins, as does the 13 week maintenance period. Would I build with Coral Homes again? Yes. Coral Homes' process wasn't perfect, and there remains minor imperfections to the finishes, but we never entered into this expecting perfection. Building is a complex process and despite all the science behind the engineering and materials used there remains variability in the performance of these. Some of the minor imperfections relate to choices that we made or factors that we overlooked - but we can easily live with all of them. We are satisfied with the final product and myself and my family are looking forward to creating happy memories in our new home. Handover done! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Enjoy!!! Do you recommend an inspection at this stage? My lender sent in an inspector / valuer at this stage. I inspected the house myself twice a day nearly everyday and picked up issues before and during the fixing stage that were then corrected before the end of the fixing stage. Either council or the Certifier check the water proofing. I also inspected the water proofing as best I could. I recommend doing what ever gives you peace of mind. Hope that helps Re: Coral Homes Daydream 28 Far North Coast NSW 189Apr 03, 2019 7:35 am Brad_2477 MrsAJ Hi Brad, Did u perform a Fixing and waterproof inspection?
