Re: Floor Plan Feedback 7Apr 02, 2019 9:55 am steel West Side wall. The one that runs between your alfresco and the garage path. 1.8m is too small to be functional but too large to just be a path. Gotcha. I will check it out again but from memory, I've got to keep about 2m away from the boundary. Thanks again for taking the time. Re: Floor Plan Feedback 8Apr 02, 2019 10:05 am justme15 Hi all, Just wondering if those more experienced could review the following floor plans. What I'm looking for are things that we might have missed or things to consider further. Please ignore the red ink. It's there to indicate the changes we asked for. Thank you in advance. You’ve obviously given the layout a lot of thought. The Multi purpose space on the ground floor you could consider changing the window to a sliding door, just so the room can be more versatile as a potential entertaining space. Upstairs in the master bedroom en-suite I would consider making the toilet and shower niche a little wider, say to 950 or 1000mm, the room is large and can take it, and you get less soap etc on the shower walls which cuts down cleaning. (our showers are 1.0m wide and they are definitely easier to clean). 😏 Best of luck! It's still very much work in progress but we like the base. And that's why I've decided to seek additional feedback here hoping that others like yourself can add provide some value. So thank you again. Will definitely look at the two suggestions you've made. One of the other things we were thinking of doing was to bring the multipurpose room out so it runs flush with the other walls. Currently, it's set in. I also like the sound of easy cleaning Re: Floor Plan Feedback 10Apr 02, 2019 11:08 am justme15 Bebbsy Upstairs in the master bedroom en-suite I would consider making the toilet and shower niche a little wider, say to 950 or 1000mm, the room is large and can take it, and you get less soap etc on the shower walls which cuts down cleaning. Re: Floor Plan Feedback 12Apr 02, 2019 11:49 am BR1 downstairs - door that leads right off entry hall. Perhaps consider opening it the other way to block line of sight into the room and allow for more privacy. Re: Floor Plan Feedback 15Apr 02, 2019 12:51 pm gogo65 My only suggestion and it seems you have the width, is to make both downstairs equites run lengthways (i.e. both long and skinny with a window each). Something like this, I’d prefer the toilet under the window, gives you a large shower, you could do a walk in and a large vanity, but more important fresh air! Thanks for that and taking the time to illustrate what you mean. It certainly helps and worth us looking into. Thanks again! Re: Floor Plan Feedback 18Apr 03, 2019 6:02 pm On orientation it seems to work quite well but I would look to reduce the amount of glass facing west on the ground floor. It will keep the living area much cooler and you are only losing a view of a fence. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
