The problem is people make (reasonable?) mistakes and you should have verified the data & proofs beforehand Here's my top list 1.The salesman made a mistake. ie basically he's not qualified ? 2.The tradesman made a mistake, ie he no longer works for us? 3.The builder " that is a variation, i am not an engineer" ie, talk to a lawyer etc,etc Sorry to say either way you are stuck with additional costs and delays OT, the pool should have been removed So basically if the builder says this needs to be done and will cost extra, we have to cough up?
